If an EU/EFTA citizen takes up a job in Switzerland with an unlimited Swiss employment contract and a workload of at least 12.5 hours per week, it is possible to apply for family reunification for the spouse/partner with third-country nationality. It is also possible to apply for a Swiss residence permit for the spouse/partner in name of family reunification for a posting.
